John Ewart
Software Engineer
John received his B.Sc in Computer Science from California State University, Stanislaus. After spending some time working at an ISP he went to graduate school to pursue his Ph.D in Environmental Science at the University of California, Merced. His academic interests include environmental engineering, embedded systems, wireless sensor networks, data visualization, math and programming. He is currently taking time off from his studies to work full-time and teach at UC during the evenings. He joined Cramer Development in 2010 and has enjoyed working with fantastic people and fun technology.
Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife and helping raise two wonderful kids as well as their dog, two cats and a fish. When he has "spare" time, he can be found tinkering with motorcycles or air-cooled Volkswagens, hiking, kayaking, gardening, working on home-improvement projects, and devising mad-science electronic devices.
